After a successful trek to Amarnath in the year 2011 and ultimate trek of Achinta in Manas we are planning about an expedition to Panch Kedar. Achinta, Surajit and Rajib all my colleagues responded and as a result we sat together and discussed about the journey. Achinta , the great arranger started to collect information from all round the corner.
Some of our colleagues prevented us, as we were not be able to cover such a huge journey as an amateur trekker. However, we accepted the challenge.
In the meantime Surajit has applied to the Indian Mountaineering Institute for a special casual leave.
The plan really clotted when the permission came from there. We also applied and got the permission as well. The railway ticket has been purchased by Surajit and Rajib in the meantime.
Now we are all eagerly waiting for 14th September 2012, our target date. The preparation is in a full swing.
